Clean Drinking Pottery Workshops

Clean Drinking Pottery hosts on- and off-site workshops for the technical development of wheel thrown student work, including first time users. Workshops address elementary technique, as well as aesthetics, particularly the aesthetics of weight, heft, and the clarity of a consequential line, or silhouette.

Classes develop in response to inquiry, or to groups seeking a unique experience of participatory, educational art.

All materials are included. Each student is likely to take home one work.

No fixed rules per se, but guiding principals: heavy rims, compressed surfaces, airy bellies, clear transitions. His surfaces on the other hand were a masterclass in subtleties and interactions more commonly found in painting than pottery."
