Clean Drinking Pottery Workshops is a site for technical development of student work, and the expansion of emotional potential while using the potters wheel. Clean Drinking Pottery also hosts workshops, and collaborative projects.

Try your hand at pottery or work on existing skills - tricks of the trade, high level critiques, and demonstrations by Hunt Prothro.
In honor of Handwork: National Craft Open Studios Weekend, Clean Drinking Pottery is hosting a wheel thrown pottery workshop and hands-on tutorial with a newly introduced Yin Yoga class taught by Director and Yoga Instructor at Movement Climbing Gym, Rockville, MD, Jezelle Abboud.
Much has been said about the meditative qualities of both wheel-thrown pottery, and Yoga. Once upon a time, I told students, “it’s not stop talking and get to work. It’s the other way around.” Pottery and Yoga, perhaps strangely, share this quality of an embodied active centeredness.
$225 per student includes Yoga (optional), and an evening cookout.
